Chili - Sister Susan's recipe

1 and 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 red pepper. chopped
3/4 cup chopped celery
3 cups canned tomatoes
1 tin tomato soup
1 tin kidney beans, drained
2 tins pork and beans
3/4 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon liquid smoke
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
2 tablespoons chili powder

Brown beef, onion, garlic, peppers and celery in frying pan. Place in large casserole dish. Ad remaining ingredients. Stir together. Bake at 365 F for 1 hour until done.
